It's such a delight to welcome the incredible Tony Iommi to the list of Guyton owners. I was approached to build Tony a custom Red Special guitar by Brian May's then guitar tech, Pete Malandrone. The guitar was to be a gift from Brian.Not only is he the mainstay of legendary British metal pioneers Black Sabbath, but has had an amazing solo career. He has released solo albums to critical acclaim, written various film scores and has also joined forces with the famous high end Italian fragrance brand 'Xerjoff' to create two 'Iommi' fragrances.

I visited Tony and measured up the neck on his JayDee 'Old boy' guitar, and also went through various options. Most of the guitar is like Brian's original apart from the neck and a built in treble booster from KAT electronics.
