The 'scalloped' guitar
This guitar was built for Brian after he had approved and play tested a similar guitar. So impressed was he, that he immediately ordered one exactly the same in every respect......except colour.
It is virtually a standard spec 'Guyton BM' except that it has a scalloped fingerboard fitted with jumbo frets, with a pearl inlay of Brian's signature and the Guyton logo. The colour is an interesting one. Initially it was to be a smoky Grey, and in a certain light that's exactly what it is, but move it and it changes from a chocolate brown to kind of aubergine.
Having now proved itself by being used on the 2005 Queen+PR tour, Brian has said that #010531 is now "liberating his vibrato" - Praise indeed!
