Gerry Rafferty

What an enormous privilege is was to meet and talk with this man.

I was contacted by his PA in 2005 about carrying out guitar work. So I met up with Gerry in his London home, discussed his needs and came away with not only his '57 Stratocaster, but also his enormously famous Martin acoustic that was painted by artist John Byrne. This guitar was used to write many of Gerry hit songs. (see photo below)

​This all took place shortly before Gerry moved to the US. Sadly he passed away in 2011.
